Wakefield Area Business Against Crime (WABAC) are pleased to announce a Conflict Management Workshops Training Day. The training will advise and inform how to deal with crime and anti-social behaviour situations and how to interact with key partners including the Police, Council CCTV and the WABAC partnership. The training is interactive, stimulating and practical including role play and will be delivered by a national training provider Securicare Ltd. The training is geared towards town centre retailers and businesses and will assist staff in dealing with difficult or aggressive customers and shoplifters.
How to manage conflict whilst at the same time staying safe is at the core of the training. This will be supported by local themes from the WABAC partnership:
Exchanging and gathering intelligence about crime and use of Sentrysis crime information system.
Communicating with others through Town Link Radio CCTV and other means.
Secrets of the shoplifter and methods to reduce shop loss.
The WABAC Conflict Management Workshop event is funded by the Police and Crime Comissioner Safer Communities Fund and is free to attend for WABAC member businesses and their employees. Refreshments are provided. Please book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.
